Nick Paton ACS is a cinematographer/DP/DOP based in Brisbane, Australia. His love of a great story has lead him to focus on documentary, drama and the intersection between them, docu-drama. Nick believes his ability to understand story intimately, visualise it photographically and implement it economically are his strengths. He has shot extensively in Australia and around the world.

Nick believes in close collaboration with directors and enjoys the look development process where the exchange of ideas between cinematographer and director reimagines the script to create appropriate, engaging imagery that drives the story.
